Computer Acronyms -  In the computing world, we have a ton of acronyms. Visit this list often as we add to definitons of computer acronyms you may come across.

FAQ Frequently Asked Questions - This is an option found on many websites. The idea is that you can find answers to common questions about the website without having to email or call the company or person providing the website.
GB GB stands for gigabyte. It's a measurement of the size of a file, a folder, RAM or hard drive capacity. A GB is equal to 1,024 megabytes or, roughly, one billion bytes.
KB Many software and hardware providers have a section on their websites labled KB or Knowledge Base. The idea is that, if you have a problem with their product, you can search the KB for possible answers. Similiar to the FAQ, one of the ideas is to reduce emails and phone calls or live chats with the owner of the website.
RAM Random Access Memory, better known as RAM, is the temporary memory area that stores your computer programs while you are working on them. The RAM is "cleared" whenever you turn your computer completely off.
WYSIWYP WYSIWYP stands for "What You See Is What You Print" and refers to a computer system that prints colors exactly as they appear on the monitor.
