I want to share with you a great government page regarding cyber security.  It’s the Department of Homeland Security site called US-CERT.  On the home page, there’s an opportunity to get on their email list for security alerts.  You should sign up.  Yes, some things in the alerts will be way over your head.  Still, that’s okay.  Keep reading them and you’ll pick up new information along the way.  

Besides alerts, click on the menu item labeled Publications.  You’ll be taken to a page with a ton of great subjects like: ransomware, banking securely online, cyber threats to mobile phones and much, much more.  These are great publications which are written in a way that “non-techie” computer users can understand them.  Take a few minutes now to check out this site’s home page and the publication page.  Just click on the buttons below.
