Last Monday, on Columbus Day, I ran a contest.  I said: “Use either the Bing or the Google search engine to find out which state celebrates Native American Day in place of Columbus Day.”  We received a slew of answers and most people commented with the correct response – South Dakota.

South Dakota is the only state that celebrates Native American Day ON Columbus Day.  There are several other states which celebrate Native American Day but not on Columbus Day.

The prize for the contest was a Cheesecake Sampler from one of our favorite affiliate companies – Chicago Steak Company.  We’ll be notifying the winner tomorrow and the Sampler will be on its way to them!  Thanks to everyone who entered.  We’ll have more contests along the way so keep reading our blog!
