Today, October 29th, is Internet Day!  In recognition of this celebration, I thought I’d share a few Internet facts:

• As of October 2018, there are more than 1.9 billion websites on the Internet.
• 95 million photos are uploaded onto Instagram every day.
• Over 78% of North Americans use the Internet.
• Combined, there are 4.9 million apps in Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• The Internet sends approximately 204 million emails per minute and 70% of all the emails sent are spam.
• A single Google query uses 1,000 computers in 0.2 seconds to retrieve an answer.
