YouTube: Show More

Screen capture of the "Show More" option below a YouTube video

If you’re a regular reader of this blog and/or a KCC customer, you are aware of the fact that I’m adding more and more YouTube videos to my free training options on my YouTube Channel. What I’ve discovered, though, is that many of those who watch forget about the information found below the video itself. Often, people will watch a video I’ve posted and then email me or call me with a question that is answered in the text below the video. That’s how I know people either aren’t aware of the text area below the presentation or don’t know how to expand the area to read more.

In the picture above, you see the opening sentences of my “Using A SD Card As A Hard Drive” information area. I’ve added a red arrow to point out the “SHOW MORE” option. In the expanded information area under many videos – not just my YouTube videos but other people’s, too – you will find helpful information and/or links to products mentioned or reviewed in the video. Here’s the additional info for the same video as above:

As you can see, more is being shared than just the video itself.

Bottom line: there’s a plethora of information on YouTube but if you’re not hitting the “SHOW MORE” option, you might be missing important information.

Suggestion: visit our YouTube channel (The link is in the second row of the menu at the top of this page.) and check out the “SHOW MORE” option on some of our videos.
