With the holiday season upon us, here’s my December app pick. It’s available in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

American Greetings E-Cards

More and more, we are using our smartphones and tablets to do the work we used to do on a computer. That’s true when it comes to greeting cards, too. I’m a long-time subscriber to American Greetings E-Cards. Granted, I still do send some of them from my computer but it’s so handy being able to quickly send a card from my phone or tablet.

Things You Can Do In The App

Obviously, you can send cards from the app – that’s a no-brainer. (You can even add a gift if you’d like.) But, there are other things you can do, also. Let’s look at the menu:

As you can see from the menu, you can check your contacts and reminders. You can also view your “Sent cards” and scheduled ones, too. All of these features help to make sending a greeting card an easier task.

Favorite Cards

While there are many great cards you can send, my favorites are “Smashups.” With these cards, you can often add a person’s name and the occasion. I have an example for you to view. I used “Friend” as the name since I have no idea who might be reading this post! To view the card I used, click HERE.

Not Free But Reasonable

While American Greetings E-Cards is a subscription-based app, the good news is that it’s reasonably priced. If you’re not using it already, give it a try. After all, the holiday season is here!
