For those of you using Windows 10, when your computer is upgraded to version 1809, you’ll find a new tool. It’s called “Snip & Sketch.” It’s a more robust version of the Snipping Tool which has been around since Windows Vista. If you’ve never used the tool, you’ve missed out on a great product. This utility allows you to capture portions of the screen. It also allows you to mark the screenshot you took, to save it and to share it.
Snip and Sketch adds features to the Snipping Tool. If you have a touch device, it allows you to draw on your capture using the touch screen. It adds the ability to crop the image you’ve captured. It also has a ruler function so you can measure what you’re doing.
Once your computer has upgraded to Windows 10 version 1809, definitely check out Snip & Sketch. Spend some time playing with it and have some fun!
