In western Pennsylvania we roasted chestnuts in an open fire in the fireplace every year.
Joyce… As a Pennsylvania boy myself, you’d think I would have done the same. However, Joyce DID remind me that I’ve seen roasted chestnuts over an open fire on the streets of NYC. Still, I’ve never actually tried them!
