I know – yes, this will frustrate some of you! Very few of us like change. Even I get frustrated when a website I use all the time changes. Still, change in the computing world is almost always for the good.

4KCC.COM Just Changed!

After years of using the same design for our website, I began to feel some time ago that the site needed a “freshening up.” Although I looked and looked at different WordPress layouts, I couldn’t find any I liked. Until today. I’ve changed over to a new design that’s different but still contains the basic elements of the old website.

It’s Not All Done Yet

While I’ve changed the overall look, there are some more things I will be modifying over the next few days. For instance, right now there are no page links in the footer of the page. This is just one of the adjustments I’ll be making. Be sure to look for them after the next production of blog posts.

Besides Aesthetics, Why Change?

One of the few things I didn’t like about the old design was that links showed up in an orange color. This made it difficult for people to understand that they should click on the highlighted words to go to a linked page. Unfortunately, the creator of the original layout appears to have gone out of business. That means getting help when I run into any issues beyond what I normally handle is out of the question. Changing the orange to a better color is one of those issues.

Will You Have Trouble?

Believe me, I’m just like you. I go crazy when a website I use all the time changes its layout. But, since I chose a design much like my old one, I don’t think you’ll have any difficulties. I hope you enjoy the new look and feel!
